Love is not enough, but it sure helps.

I hail from Alexandria, Virginia, a historic city just south of the Nation's Capital.

I work at
Freddie Mac, the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, located in Tyson's Corner, Virginia, a government-sponsored enterprise whose goal is to provide affordable housing for all. It's a great place to work! I'm a programmer analyst, supporting application development.

I am passionate about many things: computers, landscaping, the beach, home theatre, live theatre, architecture, spring & fall in DC, afternoon naps(!), good friends, spirituality, family.

Here I am at Frank Lloyd Wright's
Fallingwater, the spectacular home he created in the woods of western Pennsylvania. Frank Lloyd Wright designed Fallingwater in 1936 for the Kaufmann family. In my humble opinion, it's one of the great architecture achievements of the 20th century. Having been a landscaper for 20 years (a family business), I appreciated the design approach Frank Lloyd used to integrate the house into the rustic, natural setting.

Wherever I travel, if I know a Frank Lloyd Wright building is nearby, I always make an effort to see it.
